THE CHEER CENTER

HOME OF THE "STARS"

The Cheer Center was founded in Dec. of 1996, by Pamela Puckett and began teaching classes January of 1997.  The first teams were selected that spring and set the groundwork for what has now become one of the most highly respected gyms in the region.

The Cheer Center was the first "Cheerleading gym" in all of central Ohio when the doors opened 13 years ago. We pride ourselves on our complete training center for all levels of cheerleading, along with our extremely successful All Star Competition Cheer & DanceTeams.

Our All Star Competition teams have grown each year and have won over 170 National Titles.  The Senior Level 5  Cheer team qualified and competed at the "Cheerleading Worlds" for 5 years, finishing 16th in the Large Senior All Girl Division the first year there. We have also had our  Sr. Jazz and Sr. Pom teams qualify and participate in the "Dance Worlds" in Orlando.

Our BRAND NEW facility is conveniently located in Grove City, just off interstate 270 and 71 at the Stringtown Road Exit.  It can be easily accessed from any suberb in the city or from the outlying areas south of Columbus.  The facility is approximately 11,000 sq. ft. and has all of the best features for teaching and providing services for cheer and dance such as:

  • 54X 42 Spring floor
  • 54  X 42  and 30 X 30 Bonded Foam Floor
  • 30 ft. inground Tumble Trak with an L-shaped inground pit also accessed from a tumble strip.
  • 14 ft. Competition grade Trampoline
  • A multitude of training mats
  • 42 X 32 wood Dance Floor with dance bars
  • Preschool teaching area
  • Pro Shop
  • Parent viewing area

OUR  PURPOSE & PHILOSPHY:
